Club Night at SYC
First Friday of each Month
Club night at SYC is an informal monthly gathering, usually on the first Friday of each month* when members are encouraged to come along to the main Shoreham club house, treating the occasion very much like a night out at a good pub with friends, looked after by our wonderful Steward and her team.
The catering team always lay on a smashing supper for £15.00 for two courses and comes up with a fixed themed menu well in advance of the night, which is then published on the website and email newsletter.
If you are not a great fan of pasta and the theme for that month is Italian, then don't despair as chef is always ready to come up with an alternative meal if requested, but please give a little notice!
Club night is also a great opportunity to show off our club to new members and if you fancy coming along for a look then please contact the office and they will arrange for you to be the guest of an existing member, who can keep you company and make introductions… there's nothing worse than walking into a strange room and not knowing anybody!
When we're talking about club night we have to also mention the raffle which usually rounds off the evening, leaving the stalwarts to carry on propping up the bar.
* Very occasionally the club night is shifted around to avoid clashing with other events etc. Please check the fixture list.
