Share your passion for paddleboarding and introduce newcomers to the sport as a BSUPA Level 1 SUP Instructor.
SYC SUP School is delighted to be offering this 2 day instructor course run by local BSUPA trainer Sasha Chisholm.
As an existing paddleboarder your skills will already be at demonstration level* and you will be competent on a range of boards with a minimum of 40 hrs SUP experience tucked under your belt.
The 2 day course based on and off the water covers.

- site & risk assessments
- teaching psychology

- rescue techniques
- teaching drills
Assessment comprises of both theory in terms of verbal presentation and written test and a practical on-the-water skills and teaching assessment.
Pre-requisites include:
- BSUPA membership
- Valid first aid qualification
- Minimum age 18yrs
- 40+hrs SUP experience
- Competent paddleboarder
