DESCRIPTION:This event is for racing at SYC club house and is open to all Dinghy Sailors! \nWe will be racing close to the club house and you will all be welcome for a drink after sailing. \nRacing Schedule: \nOctober 2024\nRace 1 & 2\, Sunday 20th @ 13:00 \nNovember 2024\nRace 3 & 4\, Sunday 3rd @ 11:00\nRace 5 & 6\, Sunday 17th @ 11:00 \nDecember 2024\nRace 7 & 8\, Sunday 1st @ 10:30\nRace 9 & 10\, Sunday 15th @ 10:30 \n- Please find Notice of Race and Sailing instructions here. \n- Any under 18s competing should complete the Parental Consent Form found here. This should be signed by a parent or guardian. \n- Entry tickets are per person \n- Storage is available at an additional cost. \n- Boat charter is also available for the following craft as an additional ticket. Price is per race day. SUMMARY:Icicle Race 1 & 2
DESCRIPTION:Our club has a thriving and enthusiastic Dinghy Section! \nThere are two races during each sailing session lasting approximately half an hour each\, with the faster boats completing more laps of the circuit than slower boats in the fleet. Average lap times are calculated using PY handicaps. \nThe Icicle Race 1 & 2 are the first two races for Dinghy racers and will be held on Sunday 20th October @ 13:00. \nDo keep in mind there is no set end time for this race as it is dependable on the weather and your dinghy's ability. \nLocation varies due to weather. Races can take place at either Shoreham\, Southwick or at Sea. \nPlease ensure you purchase a ticket for the Icicle Race Series HERE before submitting your RSVP for this race.
