We offer either Active or Shoreside membership. With both types of membership, you still enjoy all the benefits Sussex Yacht Club has to offer including discounts on yard services, club moorings and the great deals on RYA training and other activity at SYC. You are also able to take full advantage of our social events, fabulous restaurant, Stow’s, and enjoy a drink in our members’ bar!
For members eager to take part in activity at Sussex Yacht Club, we have Active Membership. This membership is aimed at boat owners and regular participants (min 12 times p.a.) on the water. Whether this includes sailing, rowing, diving or Stand-Up Paddleboarding, taking part in racing and rallies, joining a committee, getting involved with a training course or making the most of the boat yard facilities.
For members more inclined to the social side of Sussex Yacht Club, we offer Shoreside Membership. There is absolutely no obligation for shoreside members to be active on the water – although if you wanted to try sailing or SUP, there is nothing stopping you! We encourage shoreside members to try out any on the water activity, you never know, this could spark a new passion!
