As I’m sure you are aware our construction project, planned for a summer hand-over has been affected both by COVID and other reasons resulting in a very much delayed completion.
We had expected even last week that practical completion and a handover would take place before Christmas but unfortunately it is not quite ready - the inside is very close indeed while the contractor elements of the outside works are to be completed to an agreed stage for later finishing. We will be directly managing this last element of the work which involves building the skirt around the building, the stairs, ramps and planters.
The current plan is for the building to be handed over in January, we will then move the office over and start to turn the building into a clubhouse, preparing the bar, kitchen and restaurant for whenever we are allowed to open.
We will update you again as soon as we have more information on hand-over dates in the new year.
