Set up in 2001, Sussex Sailability is one of the oldest Sailability clubs in the country.
To celebrate this milestone in our history we are planning a festival of sailing activity and a gala dinner at the new SYC clubhouse in Shoreham over the August bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 28th August - Sonar Match Racing
Match racing using Sussex Sailability’s and SYC's small fleet of Sonar keel boats will take place at sea during the day on 28 August. We welcome teams including Sussex Sailability members and volunteers, other SYC member and from other Sailability groups.
Please note that there will be a requirement to transfer from a powerboat to the Sonar and vice versa at sea. Participants are likely to be at sea for around 4 hours in small boats (no toilet facilities).
Cost is £10.00 per participant payable in advance.
Saturday 28th August - Celebration Dinner
Off the water we intend to celebrate by holding a dinner in the new clubhouse restaurant, Stow's, Sussex Yacht Club's Restaurant.
This will be on Saturday 28th August, 18.30 arrival for 19.15 sit down.
Cost of this is £15.00 per head payable in advance.
Dress is smart casual
The event will be kicked off by a warm welcome from the Sailability chairman.
