Please see below an update from the Harbourmaster.


I have been in communication with both mariners and anglers at Shoreham Port regarding a few recent incidents where these activities have overlapped.

I would like to remind all mariners that angling occurs from both the East and West Breakwaters. I have also reiterated to the anglers that they must not cast their lines into the navigational channels.

As such, whilst transiting the harbour entrance, please stay within the navigational channel, as marked in grey on the attached chart and do not depart or enter the channel close to the end of the breakwaters.
