Our club has a thriving and enthusiastic Dinghy Section!
Racing takes place from the main Shoreham clubhouse in the river Adur. There is also social sea cruising during the summer. SYC racing caters for a mixed fleet and club craft are available to charter.
There are generally two races during each sailing session lasting approximately half an hour each, with the faster boats completing more laps of the circuit than slower boats in the fleet. Average lap times are calculated using PY handicaps.
